Early March of 2020 was an unpredictable time. Everyone was going through a thing like never before. In the beginning I was trying to make the best of all my free time. Writing raps in my room & skateboarding in my driveway after getting home from “essential” job. I was reaching out to old friends about finally doing the collab tracks, writing new solo songs loosely based on my experiences (or lack there of), & meeting new people online w/ access to record from their homes, which is how this track w/ Mike Martinez came to be. However shortly after this song was recorded being stuck in our houses ended up being the least of our worries. As civil unrest became as apparent as it had been in decades, releasing a silly rap about my home studio started to seem less & less important. Then after a while the formula of writing songs about quarantine became a dime a dozen. However after sitting on this song for almost two years I decided to put it out because why not? I wrote a verse I liked & I’ll be damned if I don't put it out.
